    We started our evening fine after placing our order. Then it all went south from there. We waited 2 hours for food. It was clear after talking to 3 people on the staff that no one knew what was going on. Our original server pretty much dropped us and finally a random server took some interest and helped us. We stayed because it was a special evening we had planned and had heard good things about the food. The food was quite good but service is easily half the experience of eating out. I’m just wondering how long they can sustain this model of customer service and stay open. Too many other good places to eat in San Diego. Won’t recommend to anyone.

    Service was so slow. Our server disappeared on us. Not ready for the crowds they have. Kind of expensive too. The pizza is awful. Was like a load of bread with some stuff on top. My risotto special was underdone and too expensive! I stupidly didn’t ask the price. I just think this place needs more and better trained staff. And perhaps a pizza overhaul.

    Tasting menu of 7 courses and 7 wine pairing for $85 is a crazy good deal especially when the food is phenomenal. I'd even suggest they increase the price to make it more sustainable longer term. (Or decrease portion!)

    Delicious menu, mostly Roman. Great wine selections and small plates. Can't wait to try the risottos and fresh pasta on a cheat day. A little pricey, but worth the splurge.

    Seriously the best Italian meal I've ever had in my life. If you're looking for a fast Olive Garden meal, go somewhere else...like Olive Garden. But if you're looking for an authentic Italian meal that is packed with story, delicious taste, and creative design, head here.
